indhi International School Makes a Green Impact Through Inter-School Recycling Championship Coimbatore: Sindhi International School, Coimbatore, actively participated in the ISRC – Inter-School Recycling Championship, conducted on 19 and 20 August 2026, as part of the WOW – Wellbeing Out of Waste initiative by ITC, in association with RAAC – “Alagana Kovai.” The school witnessed enthusiastic participation from 219 students, contributing an impressive 1,533.2 kg of recyclable materials. With an additional 47 kg contributed by the school management, the school achieved an overall collection of 1,580.2 kg. The initiative made a significant environmental impact, with the collected paper equivalent to saving approximately 26 trees. The campaign also highlighted the potential impact of wider participation, showing that if all 1,500 students of the school participated, approximately 150 trees could be saved.
